Remember these stairs?
Anyone remember going down the sides of these stairs on cardboard in the winter?

A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR DENNIS
DENNIS , NOT SURE HOW YOU HAVE MANAGED TO FIND ALL THESE FOLKS BUT KUDO'S TO YOU!!
Eighth Grade
Great Pic Brian. I'll have to dig mine up.
I have this very weird memory. Around the end of 8th grade - you decided you wanted to be called Pete (maybe Peter). That's how you signed my autograph book. Memory just came back cause I saw one of your kids is named Pete. LOL
Eddie Corcoran - how are you? I'm happy to see the Bronx still has great teachers (I have confidence you're a great teacher). I ran into Arthur Carlucci's (not sure of spelling) father about 10 years ago at a medical convention (he was a salesman). I remember him telling me that Arthur was a school teacher in the Bronx also.
I still have a lot of family there. In fact, a sister of mine is the kindergarten teacher in OLA. A few years back my brother Kevin was the paster @ OLA. He's down in Manhattan now.
Gail - not sure if I ever thanked you for my perfect score in the orals of the French Regents - thanks a lot. Have you heard anything from Patrice or Noreen since High School? I haven't. I went to college with Mary Ann Carroll, was even a bridesmaid at her wedding. We've lost touch over the years. She was not a big fan of the internet. Would love to reconnect with her.

Doubt
Just thought I'd mention, I went to see the movie DOUBT last night and I highly recommend it.
I thought the acting was great and the shots of the Bronx brought back alot of memories.
The director and writer of this movie is John Patrick Shanley who grew up in the Park Chester section of the Bronx and I believe went to St. Raymonds. He wrote it originally as a play.

OLA
Who'd a thought? A bunch of kids from the Bronx blogging across the world.
Its nice to hear from you all.
Tommy, I remember you running down the public school kids trying to run away when we had to walk them to religious education classes.
Dennis, I remember you won 25cents cause the new kid (me) had the same hair color as you. We don't anymore, I went blonde!!
Brian, Marybeth, Susan (is Alice here?) - they were the other kids with 11 kids in their families.
Nora - very smart, best friends with Nancy who was also very smart.
I can remember that, but I don't remember who else is on our list so far. Oh well, it will be great when we all are in touch again.
